Chris Wilding Chris Wilding

Role: Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor at Leyland

Chris is the warehouse & logistics supervisor at our warehouse in Leyland and supports our warehouse team in packing, processing, and delivering orders. Chris loves learning new tasks and expanding his skill set, and he values honesty and hard work above everything. When he is not at work, he likes playing or watching football; he is a huge Blackburn Rovers fan!

Fun Fact: I was a twice semi-pro footballer in my younger years.

Chris Steeler Chris Streeter

Role:Warehouse Operative

Chris is a warehouse operative and is responsible for the safe and efficient functioning of our warehouse. Chris’s favourite part of his job is loading the vehicles, and his most important value is hard work. When Chris isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family.

Fun Fact:‘I can grow a full beard in a week.’

Joanne (Barons Warehouse) Joanne Stewart

Role: Leyland Admin

Joanne is our administrator at the Leyland warehouse and manages the inventory, processes orders, and handles delivery management. Joanne’s favourite part of the job is booking in clients orders and hearing the happy stories of customers loving their furniture! When she is not at work, she spends her time looking after her dogs and kids.

Fun Fact:

‘I used to have an axolotl as a pet.

Dave Neale Dave Neale

Role:Warehouse/Driver

Dave works in our warehouse as a driver and assists in goods inwards, delivery, and many other things. Dave enjoys driving, as it allows him to see customers receive their new furniture. One of Dave’s core values is trust and reliability, and this shows in his hard work and dedication to Barons. In his spare time, Dave enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

Fun Fact:I am a fully qualified gold referee.’

Chris Barons Chris Drysdale

Role: Project Installation Manager

Chris is the Project Installation Manager at our warehouse and manages the prompt and accurate delivery of products on large fitouts and refurbishments. This involves supervising a team of onsite staff and drivers to make sure all deliveries run smoothly. Chris’s favourite part of his job is seeing all over the UK on his delivery routes. When he is not at work, Chris enjoys eating out, travelling, and spending time with his family.

Fun Fact:

‘I love singing—but I can’t sing—and I know all the words to a few Britney Spears songs.’

Kevin Kevin McKuhen

Role: Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics

When Kevin started at Barons in 2009, Barons only did 2 wagon loads of deliveries a week and only employed 8 members of staff. Barons now runs at least 10 wagon loads a week and employs just over 50 people. Kevin credits his progression in the company to working as part of a team and the ability to grow within the business. In his free time, he enjoys going out on the boat with friends he made while at Barons.

Fun Fact: I enjoy sea fishing.
