We are delighted to tell you that Baron have secured the NHS Framework agreement for Design, Furniture and Appliances, Framework Reference Number: SBS/19/MA/TYX/9363.
Not only did we successfully secure the agreement, but we also scored top marks out of all the companies that bidded for the contract.
The NHS framework is designed to ensure that the NHS and public sector organisations, like hospitals, GPs and mental health care providers, have easy and compliant access to products and services specific to their requirements.
We are very excited to get the chance to supply our furniture ranges, which has been designed specifically for establishments where challenging behaviour may be an issue to NHS SBS customers both locally and nationally.
Committed to providing quality furniture that contributes to the safety and wellbeing of both residents and staff, our Challenging Behaviour furniture has been designed with a host of safety features including anti-ligature handles, non-removable drawers, soft rounded corners and sloping wardrobe tops.
To ensure there is something for every type of challenging behaviour environment, our ranges are classified from Low Risk to Maximum Risk through to high dependency units.
All our furniture is rigorously tested and built to be robust, ensuring they can withstand any challenging behaviour. We also design the furniture to be comfortable, offering a therapeutic feel to enhance the healing process.
We have furniture available to suit every room, from bedroom and dining rooms to communal spaces. Our furniture is available in many different wood shade options to suit your existing décor and colour schemes.
Our Sales Office Manager Judith Joyce said: “We are very pleased that we have managed to secure this framework. We work hard to design and manufacture furniture that is not only fit for purpose, but which also helps to safeguard users and staff and prevent costly damage in the event of challenging behaviour.”
The Barons team look forward to working with customers from all areas of the NHS, Local Authorities and other healthcare sectors, providing them with the very best furniture.
