Upholsterer

Location: Lytham St Annes
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am – 4.00pm
Salary/rate: Potential to earn £40k per annum

Barons is a reputable contract furniture manufacturer located in Lytham, Lancashire. We're looking for a self-motivated Upholsterer to join our well-established team. Some experience is required.

Duties include:

  • To produce quality upholstered items in a timely manner
  • Ensure safe use of machinery in the workplace
  • Maintain work space area in a clean and tidy manner
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Handling fabric and machinery with care
  • Develop strong product knowledge
  • Compliance with the company’s Health and Safety policy
  • Compliance with the company’s Equal Opportunities policy

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Be methodical with excellent organisational skills
  • Be able to work with the minimum of supervision
  • Be enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have a flexible approach
  • Have the initiative to solve basic queries and make routine decisions
